It is the day after Christmas and all through the house
The kids are playing since cousins are all about
The sleepover continues and kids run without a care
Thanking God that Grandma and Grandpa are here and not there
The gifts have been opened and paper thrown out
The Bible has been read and now we are out and about
We go see a movie,
see a relative or two
and also we relax and think about the many blessing that we have.
We have eaten more cookies than we care to count
We have spend time with Daddy and now we are without
He has to go to work
Back to Emporia he goes
We stay at grandma's a little longer
We are in no hurry to get home
And so without much more to say, I have to say goodbye
Merry Christmas to all
and to all a goodnight!
