Racing Stripes and the kids

Yesterday was Zeke birthday and to celebrate we had some cake and watched "Racing Stripes".
It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It had some crude humor (about bodily functions). Overall the kids liked it. It had horses and zebras in a race. Ive thought the flies were funny. If you see the previews you would assume there is a lot more crude humor but it is mostly donw by the flies and they play a minor role in the film. I do not know why the previews place such an emphasis on them. Really all the other characters in the story are very wholesome and the movie has a good message about being yourself. I recommend it for older kids past the ag of 5.
