It has been a weird month. We ended up having to change internet and cable providers. We were having trouble with Adelphia. It took about a month for us to get our new service. We know have Verizon for internet and dish network for cable. So far we are happy we our choice and we are saving about 40 bucks a month. Having no TV (since here we get nothing but static without cable) and no internet means that I feel like I have been incommunicated from the world. I had to rely on radio to keep up with the news.
Anyways here we are back online and plugged in. The kids are loving their new school. Ive got elected students council representative for her class. That is nothing short of an answer to prayer since she is new and did not know a lot of kids but somehow out of the 5 kids running she won! She now has a ton of responsabilities as class representative and she is also running for student council secretary. She has a friend named Maria and she really enjoys her class and the new curriculum. Samantha is enjoying 1st grade. It has taken her a while to get used to the swing of things. She has never had the experience of a big school and she got lost in the shuffle a couple of times. The only two schools she has gone to was Good Sheperd and there were only 8 kids in her Kindergaren class and Jefferson which only had about 50 kids in Kindergarden at her new school there are about 200 1st graders so it is quite a change. She has made some friends and she loves that she has art, music, PE, library and recess! Ezekiel is having fun in PK. He has a new teacher and they have started praticing writing their names and the letters and numbers. His favorite part of school is ALWAYS lunch!
