I am posting some pictures from our fun summer. It was so much fun to see all our friends and family. There is a picture of Gabriel eating yogurt, Brenda and Joseph and the kids feeding their cousin Diego. It is sad to see summer end!
But it is the beginning of a new school year. It will be a bit of a different school year this year. We have decided to put the girls in Greensville Elementary this year. It means that they will no longer be going to the same school that I am teaching. Greensville has more programs both before and after school and we believe that the needs of the girls will be better served. They are both excited about the change. Greeensville is a big school closer in size to Ive's school in Texas. It has 1000 students from pk-12 which means that Ivelisse will actually be one of the oldest kids in the school and Samantha will be in the middle. They have a lot of program for gifted and advanced learners and they have fine art programs in the afternoon (like music, art, theather and sports). I am hoping to get the girls involved in some of the programs. Ezekiel will be still going to Monumental but he will be in the pre-k program. Jake will pick up the girls 2 days out of the week and they will take the bus to Monumental on the other 3 days. Of course that schedule can change if they get involved in after school activities. Keep the girls in your prayers as they start this new school. Pray that they find good friends and that they will have good teachers.
Thanks in advance for your prayers.

Carmen, I was just mentioning to Mami about your school concerns. I am so glad you found a good solution. The girls look beautiful and Zeke is always a cutie. I am so glad to see Brenda and her new son. Last I heard from her she was in the hospital with the early labor situation. I am glad to see that things turned out okay.
Arwen starts school Sept 11. We are excited. It is a bit weird in that she will have only 6 kids in her K class. It will probably be fantastic for her. Music lessons start this week and Gymanstics the same week that school does. We are going to be busy, but that just the way we like it.
¡Que Dios te bendiga!
