We know where we are going!!!!
Last week Jake got his county of assignment. He has been assigned to Southampton, VA. It is about 65 miles south of Richmond, 40 miles from Virginia Beach and 70 miles from Raleigh NC. It will be a change for us. This is a very rural area. The county only has 17,000 people in it and it is 604 square miles in size. We have not had a chance to go and check it out. I am kind of excited be also kind of nervous. Well, atleast we can start making some plans.

Yeah! Carmen. Living in a rural area isn't the end of the world. And you seem to have larger communities in the general area (says someone whose nearest major airport is 2 hrs away).
