It isn't even officially summer yet and our summer is already looking very full. I am excited since I wanted to make sure that the kids were busy and productive this summer. Here is our schedule (as it stands right now)
June 16: Last day of school
June 16-20: Trip to Roanoke (kids only)
June 20-June 30: Return to Emporia, relax and VBS(we got a pool membership so I am guessing there will be lots of trips to the pool too)
June 30-July 4: Trip to Roanoke to have Ive and Zeke's family birthday celebration
July 4- July 9: Return from Roanoke with Kathryn and Rebecca (cousins) and have an extended sleep over. The plans for this holiday include a trip to the richmond children's museum and a trip to washington DC to the zoo
July 9-12: Relax and pack for Puerto Rico
July 12- August 9: Enjoy Puerto Rico and the family
August 9-August 21:Relax and enjoy the last 2 weeks of summer
August 21- Sept 6:Carmen goes back to work and kids will go to summer camp or daycare (have not planned this part out yet)
Sept. 6: Back to school
I am sure that there will be additions as the summer progresses and I am glad that there are some breaks in the middle of all the activity to just enjoy Summer!
