Sickness and Blessing

This has been one of the hardest weekends since Jake left. Zeke got very sick on Friday and both of us had to miss school. We actually ended up at the doctor since he was having a hard time breathing. He was very congested. It ended up that he had Croup along with his cold. He was given an oral steroid and send home with a 3 day supply of oral steroids. By the way I also had a fever and was feeling pretty crappy on Friday. Then Saturday Samantha comes down with a cough and a fever. Her fever spiked up to 102.6 on Saturday night. Sunday Zeke, Samantha and I are still coughy and feeling sick and then Ivelisse comes down with a sore throat and a slight fever. We basically spend the whole weekend in bed or taking care of whoever was feeling worse at that time. By Sunday afternoon I was so exhausted I could have cried. I called our bible study friends to tell them that we were sick and we could not attend. They then proceded to bring us groceries and prepare meals for us. It was such a blessing. Also a friend came and brought some money that I wasnt even expecting to get. It wasn't a lot but we are finances right now every bit help. It has been a very hard weekend but at the same time it has been a weekend that has shown me that God is watching and taking care of us through thick and thin. It is now Monday and we are all improving slowly, we will all go back to our regular routine tomorrow Tuesday. I wish we could all spend one more time resting but I cant afford to miss school any more. I am praying we will all wake up tomorrow feeling great. Either way I know God is watching and taking care of all our needs.
