Horses, princesses, zoobooks and everything in between...
I am usually amazed at what my kids enjoy and will read. Ivelisse seems to go back and forth between very mature books (she read a remake of the diary of Anne Frank that she really enjoyed) and age appropriate books (the Berenstein Bears are a family favorite). Ive also enjoys reading the magazine Zoobooks (she keeps all the magazines and reads them over and over again) Samantha enjoys anything that has fantasy and silliness in it. She likes stories with princesses in it and also enjoys Junie B. Jones chapter books but overall she will joyfully listen to just about any story. Zeke is a big fan of the Billy and Blaze books by CW Anderson. This is a series of books that shares the adventure of a boy and his pony. They are beautifully written and illustratedThey were first written in the 1930's and are now out of print. They are hard to find but he absolutely loves these books. I hope that they will all continue to love reading. It has always been one of my goals for my kids to be avid readers of all kind of literature.
